At My Matcha Co., we believe exceptional matcha begins at the source. Our matcha is harvested from two of Japan’s most renowned tea regions—Shizuoka and Uji—each contributing its own distinctive character and depth.

In Shizuoka, centuries of tea-growing expertise meet an environment perfectly suited to premium green tea. Surrounded by mountain mist and enriched by mineral-dense volcanic soil, the tea plants grow slowly, developing a refined, balanced flavour. Clean alpine water and a mild coastal climate give Shizuoka matcha its vibrant green colour, fresh grassy notes, and smooth umami finish.

From Uji, the birthplace of Japanese matcha, we source leaves celebrated for their exceptional sweetness, depth, and traditional cultivation methods. Uji’s long-established shading techniques and fertile river-valley terrain produce tea with a rich aroma, velvety texture, and a naturally mellow profile.
